Chanel celebrates 100 years of N°5 with ‘Chanel Factory 5’

Conceived in 1921 by Ernest Beaux, the mythical fragrance celebrates a century of life. For the occasion, the iconic Parisian luxury brand presents a pop-up store with everyday life products elevated by Chanel’s luxury codes.

Chanel bath tablets in a paint bucket, Chanel body emulsion in a sauce sachet, Chanel body oil in an oil can. To celebrate their iconic N°5, the brand has created an immersive experience that takes the audience to the backstage-process with an uber-chic version of the Chanel Factory.

The luxury visual codes of the brand marry a black-and-white Chanel scenario with 3 types of neon-coloured stations: the kitchen, the garage and the art studio. Sprinkled between these main beauty installations, mix-stations hold the 17 products that land Chanel N°5 into daily objects that remind us that wearing the fragrance elevates our everyday routine.

The Chanel Factory 5 pop-up is open from June 29 to July 5 at 17 Rue Commines, 75003, Paris. It will also be reproduced in London, Monterrey, Chengdu, Hong Kong, Seoul and Tokyo.

The 17 products are available for purchase at selected Chanel’s stores.

Complying with COVID19 safety measures, wearing a mask in the venue is mandatory.
