Atelier Materi Unveils Vanille Carbone: A Bold New Fragrance Exploring Contrasts in Harmony

Parisian niche perfumerie Atelier Materi introduces Vanille Carbone, its latest olfactory creation—an exploration of contrast in harmonious balance. Known for its meticulous craftsmanship and reverence for raw materials, the brand continues its tradition of artistic expression through scent.

Vanille Carbone unveils an unexpected side of vanilla, embracing depth and duality.
At its opening, spicy top notes of Madagascar black pepper and pink peppercorn awaken the senses. The heart reveals an intriguing blend of patent leather and incense essence, giving the composition a textured elegance. Anchoring the fragrance is a rich base of Madagascar vanilla absolute—earthy, warm, and darkly sensual.

“In Vanille Carbone, vanilla unveils its deep black hue and contrasting facets,” shares Atelier Materi founder Véronique Le Bihan. “A monochrome canvas of contrasting textures, between matte and shine, shadow and light, revealing the full intensity of black vanilla.”
