Walk your Worth: L’Oréal Paris show makes a feminist and feminine stand

L’Oréal Paris presented the fifth edition of “Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris” at the École Militaire, a national monument and symbol of French excellence. With a line-up of renowned spokespeople walking the runway, L’Oréal reaffirms their commitment to celebrate the beauty, the strength and the potential of women through a runway show that praises diversity and excellence.

This years show “Walk your Worth” played around the world-renowned tagline “Because You’re Worth It'“, as an invitation for women to stand with confidence in an unapologetic manner.

Staged at the École Militaire, a historic masculine powerhouse that now holds the presence of female students, L’Oréal Paris venue choice praises women skills and determination to achieve whatever they set their minds into.

This year, the brand continued with its tradition of hosting the show in an iconic Parisian site and a diverse and inclusive line-up of international spokespeople that embodied the brand’s commitment to women empowerment.

Walking down this years runway: Cindy Bruna, Luma Grothe, Liya Kebede, Eva Longoria, Leila Bekhti, Gemma Chan, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Katherine Langford, Andie MacDowell, Soo Joo Park, Camille Razat, Aishwarya Rai, Bebe Vio, Marie Bochet, amongst others.

L’Oréal Paris self-worth focus gets amplified with their outreach program “Stand Up Against Street Harassment’, launched in 2020 to help women walk safely on the streets.

The program, which aims to educate the public on how to intervene against street harassment and build safe, inclusive spaces for all, is currently present in 41 countries worldwide in partnerships with non-gov organisation Right to Be.

To date, 940,000 people have been trained around the world and L’Oréal Paris has set a goal of 1.5M individuals by the end of 2022.
